At House of Kaura, every outfit is more than just clothing - it’s a story of heritage, handcraft, and heart. Our journey begins with an idea and ends with a timeless piece made to celebrate Indian tradition and modern elegance. Here’s a glimpse into how our creations come to life:

Designing with Purpose

Every collection starts with inspiration from Rajasthan’s royal heritage, nature, and everyday beauty. Our designs are sketched carefully, keeping in mind comfort, elegance, and the essence of handcrafted Indian wear.

Selecting the Fabric

We use pure cotton fabrics like Mal Mal and Cotton cambric for their softness, breathability, and flowy texture. Choosing the right fabric ensures that our garments are not only beautiful but also comfortable for everyday wear and special occasions.

Preparing the Raw Fabric

Before the magic begins, the raw fabric is washed and processed to remove impurities. This step ensures the material is soft, durable, and ready to take on colors and embroidery.

The Art of Dyeing & Printing

Colors are at the heart of our collections. Our fabrics are hand-dyed using traditional Bandhej (Bandhani) techniques, tying, dipping, and drying the fabric under the sun. Each shade, from rani pink to deep rust, reflects the soul of Rajasthan.

Washing & Drying Under the Sun

After dyeing, the fabric is carefully washed and laid out to dry naturally. Sun-drying not only enhances the colors but also keeps the process eco-friendly and sustainable.

Embroidery & Handwork

Once the fabric is ready, our skilled artisans bring it to life with mirror work, thread embroidery, sequins, tassels, and doriya details. Every stitch is done with patience and precision, turning the fabric into a masterpiece.

The Final Touch

After embroidery, each garment is stitched, checked for finishing, and given its final shape. From flowy Anarkalis to chic Coord Sets, every piece carries a blend of comfort, tradition, and elegance.
